This is so beautiful and sad at the same time… With my 4 kids, I never realized those ”last time”. The happy thing is that our 14 years old boy (looking like 17) still wants a hug, loves to hold my hand, to shop with me… All 4 still creep into our room for cuddles. From now, I’ll definitely cherish those times and keep them as precious memories! I think this poem title should be: those joyous/happy times or those precious memories or the virtuous mom… !
Memories
A Christmas to Remember !!
PART 1: TWINKLING LIGHTS.
Hello everyone! I hope, you’re all getting ready for Christmas. Please never forget who Christmas is about: JESUS, the SAVIOR of the World !!!
I love Amy Grant, this title is from one of her song. Every year, we listen to that song while decorating our Christmas tree. We specially like those words:
Twinkling lights
A chill is in the air
And carols everywhere
Close your eyes, it’s almost here
Candles and cards
And favorite movie scenes
The smell of evergreen
As special as it’s always been
And I have a dream or two
Maybe they will come true
Setting our hopes on a big snow tonight
We’ll wake up to a world of white
It’s gonna be a Christmas to remember
Light up the fire, play some Nat King Cole
Always sentimental and don’t you know that
It’s gonna be a Christmas to remember
I know it’s true
Time doesn’t stand still
Many things can change
But we know some things never will
The memories we share
The songs we always sing
The mystery of life
The hopefulness this season brings
And I have a dream or two
Maybe they will come true…
This year, once again, for our family, it’s gonna be a Christmas to remember. We’re excited to share with you our wonderful Christmas stories: “a dream or two that came true…!
See you soon, I will have a lot to share 😉
HELLO HEAVEN!!!
Two years ago: March 14, 2012 my father, my hero has left us to be with God, where there is no more pain, tears, mourning …
Although he was ill for a long time, his death for me was brutal and very early. One says that the pain fades with time and we keep only the good memories. This is true for the good memories but not for the pain …
Hello heaven, dear God, here Debora
Does he always keep his affectionate smile?
Is he always this inexhaustible source of wisdom?
Is he still a confidant, the wise man who knows how to listen?
Tell him that we do not forget …
Tell him that I so miss him …
Tell him he will always be my hero …
