An Unforgetable Christmas !

Part 3: Two dreams came true

We hope you all had a merry and God-centered Christmas ! This year again, we were thinking about what God wants for Christmas. So we did our best to give, open and surrender our HEART to our Savior, the Light of the world, the Prince of Peace. We ended up being blessed beyond our hope and dreams.

Since couple years now, I dreamed to have a nativity scene. I could not find it.. So I finally gave up ! Then something amazing happened. The first day of December, we discovered a present at our door step with a card saying this:

And then, every few days, we received gifts at our door step from those mysterious friends!

Each gift bag had one character of the Nativity,

The last day, December 25th, we got baby Jesus, the true meaning of Christmas!!

God is good, all the time! The second dream that came true is the wonderful Christmas celebration at our church. Our family was part of a play called: Christmas in reverse! Finally, I had my cousin Sara visiting from Montreal with her three boys and my Nephew Zié and his wife Nicole from Washington State to share Christmas with us. Those are some pictures of what will be for our family : a CHRISTMAS TO REMEMBER !!

Christmas In Music!

Part 2: Play some Nat King Cole!

When our kids were little, our dream and prayers were that one day, at least one or two of them will choose and love to play an instrument. I can’t believe that today our dream came true! Marc and I feel bless to have so talented kids. This year, Michael & Nema are having some piano lessons and Daniel & Dara are in a guitar class. Wow, believe me, our house is everyday full of music, praise & worship. It’s amazing how fast learners they are and how easy they can switch between any kind of instrument, especially our oldest: Daniel !

Beside that, our girls love to sing. So, we were very proud to enjoy their music school recital and their wonderful schools concert and appreciate again their amazing talents! Bravo to all their music teachers and we are proud of our fantastic 4!

A Christmas to Remember !!

PART 1: TWINKLING LIGHTS.

Hello everyone! I hope, you’re all getting ready for Christmas. Please never forget who Christmas is about: JESUS, the SAVIOR of the World !!!

I love Amy Grant, this title is from one of her song. Every year, we listen to that song while decorating our Christmas tree. We specially like those words:

Twinkling lights
A chill is in the air
And carols everywhere
Close your eyes, it’s almost here
Candles and cards
And favorite movie scenes
The smell of evergreen
As special as it’s always been
And I have a dream or two
Maybe they will come true

Setting our hopes on a big snow tonight
We’ll wake up to a world of white
It’s gonna be a Christmas to remember
Light up the fire, play some Nat King Cole
Always sentimental and don’t you know that

Time doesn’t stand still
Many things can change
But we know some things never will

This year, once again, for our family, it’s gonna be a Christmas to remember. We’re excited to share with you our wonderful Christmas stories:  “a dream or two that came true…!

Our ePiC a D v E n T u R e !!

That’s it, we moved to British Columbia (Western Canada), more precisely to Vancouver Island and we now live in Shawnigan Lake! Since Sunday, July 27, we are settling in while enjoying the beautiful summer on the Island.

For the record, this is our 10th move and it was the most relaxed and easy we ever had! Because, we didn’t have to pack anything ourselves (no fatigue), so we decided to make the trip with our car from Edmonton to Shawnigan Lake through the mountains!

Here are some pictures of our beautiful, amazing, indescribable and unforgettable adventure, blessed by the Lord.

On Saturday, July 26, we traveled with our car. 

On our way to British Columbia

We admired wonderful landscapes.

Incredible views as  on a postcard

We have seen strange things and we thought we were on the planet Mars…

It was a relief when we saw this sign “the best place on earth.” We were in the right direction!

After 1200 km, we arrived at the ferry going from Vancouver to Victoria

We were so fascinated by the islands crossed that we dreamed of buying this one!

Admired the Orcas in the Strait of Georgia.

And after 16 hours of travel, one night in Kamloops, we finally arrived home safe and sound and thankful to God!
