It was sometimes rainy, we had a pouring rain, a cloudy sky with a shy sun shining, but none of that stop us from having a great time at the Pacific Resort Beach in Parksville!

My son, Michael wrote a song that says: ”when the sun is shining and the birds are singing, then I know, I am living in a world that alive… made by someone powerful, God…”
Today, I felt that blessing when I looked outside. While some of you, dear friends are enjoying or suffering or hating or tired of the snow, the cold, the storm (I can relate to that and deeply sympathize) the sun was shining on Vancouver Island! I hope those pictures will warm up your heart and tell you that, there is always sun shining days after the storm! 😉
The last time!
This is so beautiful and sad at the same time… With my 4 kids, I never realized those ”last time”. The happy thing is that our 14 years old boy (looking like 17) still wants a hug, loves to hold my hand, to shop with me… All 4 still creep into our room for cuddles. From now, I’ll definitely cherish those times and keep them as precious memories! I think this poem title should be: those joyous/happy times or those precious memories or the virtuous mom… !
China Beach Adventure !!
No we haven’t been to China ….. YET lol
My parents in-laws (Opa and Oma for our kids), are visiting us from Belgium. Among many places we visited with them, China Beach in Sooke (Vancouver Island) was their favorite place! I definitely agreed with them. If you’re not like me, dead scare to meet black bears, you will enjoy this wonderful, peaceful beach. Here are some of my favorite pictures of our day adventure.
